THE DETAILS

Thursday is Day Festival opens

Wednesday is Day before festival opens

Tuesday is 2 days before festival opens

Site Crew: Pre fest, during fest and post fest
PreFest is from 8am until that day's work load is completed and generally begins 7 days prior to festival opening (at least 3 days are worked for full fest camping ticket) if things are finished so is your day. PreFest could include months prior to the festival opening.
Upside to this is early entry for camping, getting fed, a volunteer t-shirt, and you do not work fest.
*If you also work post fest you are welcome to remain camped on property up to 7 days after the close of the festival on Sunday.
Site Crew During Fest is 4hr shifts start times to be determined
Arrival is the day before festival opens; if you need to arrive sooner that is absolutely fine, be aware you work every day camped on the field and work garnered does NOT go towards what you volunteered for (we always appreciate the extra hand).
Post Fest is from 8am until that day's work is completed and will begin the Monday following the festival. Post fest could also include coming back at a later date and time to help shut down (winterize shall we say) festival site. This could be discussed later with myself and or Site Crew Manager Jake.

Hospitality Crew/Greenroom:
Pre Fest Hospitality:  this is Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, the week the festival opens it begins with setting up Artist areas (which are behind the dance tent and behind the main stage), as well as setting up tents, etc. You may also be running errands with, or for, the crew manager Chavi.
Upside to this is early entry for camping, a volunteer t-shirt, and you do not work fest.  Same rules apply for camping that applies with site crew you just won't be pounding stakes
Hospitality is also tethered to the kitchen so you could possibly work with our Crew manager of the kitchen staff Micheal (This man creates yummy, delectable food).

The Greenroom/Hospitality is backstage and 2 locations. This crew is during the festival and attending to artist needs; making sure coffee is fresh and available, tea options are out and easily accessible for artist picking, cleaning and maintaining area etc. During festival shifts are 4 hrs a day for every day you are at the festival arriving at destination 15 minutes prior to start time; this ensures a smooth transition from volunteer to volunteer and allows everyone to enjoy the festival.  These locations are NOT open to the public and have security at every gate, if you have a shift at one of these locations be sure to have your badge to make security's job easier.

Now for the front face of OLDTONE!....
This is where you find Traffic and Safety, Merch Tent, Ticket Booth (artist check in, volunteer check in, where you sell tickets and check in those fabulous folks that have paid!!)
Whatever you choose to volunteer for, arrival is required the day before we open in order for me to have a quick meeting with everyone.

Traffic & Safety Crew:
This crew arrives the day before the festival opens. Shifts are 4hrs a day every day you are here for the festival and we ask for you to arrive at your destination 15 minutes prior to start time; ensures a smooth transition from volunteer to volunteer and allows everyone to enjoy the festival.

Ticket Booth Crew:
This crew arrives the day before the festival opens.  Shifts are 4hrs a day every day you are here for the festival and we ask for you to arrive at your destination 15 minutes prior to start time; ensures a smooth transition from volunteer to volunteer and allows everyone to enjoy the festival.

Day Trippers:
Past festivals have shown us just how many folks want to check us out, because of this amazing turn out we have created this section just for you.
You wanna pop in for a day during the festival then come on!! You would work One, 2 hr shift at, either Mid Gate or Lower Camping; checking wrist bands at mid gate and being available for ticket holders at lower camping.

Merch Tent:
This Crew arrives the day before the fest begins and works 4 hr shifts. Same rules apply

Trash Crew:
Duke & his Amazing Tractor
We are a small festival and can make dirty jobs fun!! Last festival I rode around with Duke on his tractor and I have to tell you, it's fun!! Folks on the field could hear us coming and brought there trash to the road and greeted us with a smile (or laugh ) some folks came with there kids and just waved at us. I loved it. Anyway....
Shifts are short and quick because of the size of the festival. For that reason, they may just be Morning and Evening.

A Volunteer Team Tee Shirt

So much Fun!

Pre and Post Fest Crew get limited food and beverage provided during the day.
